Test Day

Today in western civilization class we took a big test. The test wasn't that difficult yet I still got a c on it. In the class, the test was mostly about Hellenistic Culture in Ancient Greece and so on and so forth. The test was about 33 questions and I got a good amount of them right, I think because I studied. After the test he immediately graded them and passed them back out to the class. I was one of the last ones to finish so I got my test back later then everyone else.

Hey my fellow bloggers! This is ya boy Ryan Vanskiver and I cannot wait to tell yo¨abput ym Friday and Saturday. My weekend was just soccer, soccer, soccer! The best game of the whole tournament was when we were up 1-0 at half time against the 9th team in the state of Pennsylvania and we all gathered together into a big huddle and I started a pep talk about my "dream" I had the night before in which we had won the championship. 1. Hellenistic- The term "Hellenistic" was significant to the Greeks because this was the word that was used to describe the culture the Greeks shared. This culture was a blend of Greek, Egyptian, Persian, and Indian influences. My first couple of days at John Carroll

The first few days of school for me have been absolutely awesome. On my first day of school(orientation which was last Friday) I have been able to see the school in different ways that I would have never thought were possible. Like on last Friday i met with my teachers and I introduced myself to new people that I thought that I would never of talked to. But the biggest thing that shocked me was when more people were coming up to talk to me then I was with others. I would've never thought that the community of this school would be so kind and welcoming to everyone that enters through. The John carroll community is something different then any other school I have ever been to. My orientation day all of the sophomores and juniors that were helping out with the orientation were being so kind and welcoming that it was all so unreal.
